Ottawa’s Obruta Space Solutions will be putting their autonomous spaceflight technology to the test next month on the International Space Station (ISS).

Obruta’s autonomous RPOD spaceflight software is being tested in space! In partnership with space-technology developer GeoJump, the ISS National Lab has awarded our teams three missions of flight time using the Astrobee platforms on-board the International Space Station.

We’re pleased to announce that Obruta has been awarded a Space Technology Development Program contribution by the Canadian Space Agency. This award, valued at just under $225,000, is helping fund Obruta’s efforts to develop Computer Vision for autonomous spacecraft docking.
